We design as well as build, play with interiors and exteriors, love coffee, pinot noir and surfing but most of all
I love what we do.

I’ve had the pleasure of being party to a tumultuous array of projects over the years. From building architect-designed luxury houses, converting a cray-fisherman’s warehouse into a family home and million-dollar renovations to simple bathroom and kitchen makeovers and everything in between.

We’ve taken a concrete shell and turned it into a 120-seater beachside restaurant, refurbished a working hotel and sandwiched two sea containers on top of a residential garage for to create a funky second floor Airbnb granny flat. And we’re just getting started.

Notwithstanding a number of industry accolades and a few grey hairs, I’ve picked up a thing or two about building and renovating during this time – good, bad and indifferent!

Out of this ‘The Barefoot Renovator’ evolved. A mix of small business, building, renovating, marketing, surfing and splash of trying to improve the face of our industry one project at a time.
